This course is for professional technicians that are already trained in skin penetration procedures for aesthetic purposes, including cosmetic tattooing (permanent make-up or PMU), body art tattooing and skin needling.
This course does not train you in infection control, room setup, machine selection, or the many other things required to operate as a competent skin penetration aesthetician. We have assumed you have adequate knowledge of these things already.
If you need fundamental training in cosmetic tattooing (PMU) or skin needling, THink Aesthetics is happy to help, including practical face-to-face training, either by us or through our international network. We do not train in body art tattooing but have made this course available to industry technicians to assist with understanding the legal acquisition and use of topical anaesthetics in Australia, as well as the basics of how they work.
This course will help you understand some topical anaesthetic theory, what works and what doesn’t, and puts you, the technician, in a better position to provide advice to clients and answer their questions.
